March 2010The Wilde Group Ltd celebrates 25 years in business

25 YearsThe Wilde Group Ltd are celebrating 25 years of business this year.  Silas Wilde, Managing Director of The Wilde Group Ltd consisting of 4 trading divisions CEM Fencing Contractors, NRG Fabrications, DJC Joinery and HFS Timber is marking this occasion with invitation-only corporate and social events throughout the year.
During 2010, Silas will be inviting people and companies, past and present to help commemorate the past 25 years and to thank them for their help and support in making The Wilde Group a success.

Silas says:  ' Although this year is likely to be a very challenging one in business, we have plans in place for the next 10 years for the continued success of the group. I also think it is very important to commemorate the milestone anniversary in my career.

December 20092010 Charity of the Year

air ambulanceThe Wilde Group Ltd has appointed The Northamptonshire & Warwickshire Air Ambulance as their 2010 Charity of the Year. Alison Treacher & Nicola Scott have set a target sum of £2,500.00, various events and fundraising activities will take place throughout the New Year.

November 2009Alison Treacher- NEBOSH Diploma

nebosh diploma‘’The Wilde Group are pleased and proud to announce, Alison Treacher, our Group Health, Safety & Environmental Manager has this week passed her NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) Diploma.  It has taken eighteen months to achieve and is recognised as the highest NEBOSH qualification you can attain.   It involved seven weeks of study, three exams and an 11000 word assignment!

2012 Olympics site security fencing, Stratford

CEM Fencing Contractors are pleased to announce our part in the 2012 Olympics Development in Stratford, London.  CEM have been working on a number of sites, working for the ODA through Main Contractors, including The Athletes Village, North East Security Plaza, the M11 fencing works, and works on the Docklands Light Railway.

General Manager Simon Peart says ' It is a great achievement to be working on such a prestigious project, and it goes hand in hand with the opening of our South East Regional office as we are now in a position to manage projects in the Southern regions locally, thus increasing efficiency.'

 

CEM Fencing – Company Strategy progresses from strength to strength

In 2008 CEM Fencing announced a company strategy that involved working nationwide but wishing to be known locally, and throughout this year we have moved further forward with our development. Along with our presence in the Midlands, Sam Bradbury and the South West regional office now has its own database of regional clients and has been managing projects within their surrounding region.

The Wilde Group Appoint New Health & Safety Manager

The Wilde Group has announced the appointment of their new Health & Safety Manager, Alison Treacher. This is a new role within The Wilde Group.

Alison, 37, has experience of working in both the private and public sector and has been a Health and Safety Practitioner for over ten years. Alison holds a NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health, National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health, Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate and is currently working towards a National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. Previous experience includes monitoring contractors, writing risk assessments and method statements, delivering training and tool box talks and co-ordinating CDM projects.

Alison says “the appointment of a Health & Safety Manager shows a firm commitment from The Wilde Group to take health and safety forward to another level. I am looking forward to working with clients to ensure that projects are completed safely and raising the profile of health and safety with our own employees which, in turn, will benefit our customers.”

CEM Fencing has a strategy for growth that entails working nationwide but wishing to be known locally. In the past we have operated from a central location servicing our client’s requirements from the HQ in Northampton. Today we are expanding our operations on a regional basis and in August this year we opened our latest regional office in Monmouth covering the SW region. Sam Bradbury, our new Regional Manager for this area and will be happy to take your enquiries.
